The Commencement exercises of the Wilton High School will be held at the Methodist church tomorrow evening when the class of 1930, consisting of eight girls and sixteen boys will receive their diplomas.

The Rev. Vernon L. Shontz of the First Baptist church of Muscatine, will give the commencement address.

Marjorie McCoy is the class valedictorian and Harold Grunder salutatorian with their high school grades averaging 95 and 93% respectively. Ruth Brown placed third with a four year average of 93.

CLASS OF 1930 RECEIVES DIPLOMAS
REV. SHONTZ OF MUSCATINE SPEAKER AT COMMENCEMENT EXERCISES HELD FRIDAY

Wilton High School's fifty-second annual commencement exercises were held at the Methodist church last Friday evening when the class of 1930 consisting of sixteen boys and eight girls received their diplomas from H. F. Lauser, President of the Board of Education.

The Rev. Vernon L. Shontz, pastor of the First Baptist church of Muscatine, delivered the Commencement address, taking as the subject of his talk, "The Waiting World".

The program was as follows:

    Processional--Orchestra.
    Invocation--Rev. A. W. McBlain.
    (a) "The Stars are Brightly Shining" "By the Waters of Minnetonka"---Girls Glee Club.
    Class History--Ruth Brown.
    Class Poem--Clifford Christiansen.
    Class Prophecy--Mary Catherine Hart.
    Valedictorian--Marjorie McCoy.
    Vocal Solo, "A Brown Bird Singing"--Elbert Wiebel.
    Address, "The Waiting World"--Rev. Vernon L. Shontz of Muscatine.
    Presentation of Class--Miss Maude Felter.
    Presentation of Diplomas--H. F. Lauser, President of the Board of Education.
    Vocal Solo, "When You Come to the End of the Day"--Elbert Wiebel.
    Benediction--Rev. McBlain.
    Class Motto--"Be An Optimist."
    Class Flower--Yellow Tea Rose.
    Class Colors--Orchid and Cream
