1925 Iowa State Census for Muscatine County
Introduction

The Iowa State Census takers were required to get a Population Schedule filled out for every man, woman and child whose place of abode on January 1, 1925 was in their district. The Muscatine County’s Population Schedule Books were numbered sequentially. Each schedule book has been assigned a large number, in bold print, which is found on the left side of its cover page. Names are recorded by numbered line, 1 thru 150.

So to facilitate researchers, the Muscatine County Genealogical Society has compiled an index on Names according to Population Schedule Book Number and Line.

This index includes:

Last Name First Name Relationship (To Head of Household) Age

Book (Number) Line (Number) Township / Town

We have done our best to interpret the handwriting and have typed as it was written.
