IRA PERDUE

    Ira and Carrie Perdue have been married 36 years and have lived in Elliott for 25 years. They have two daughters, Linda and Kathy who attended school in Elliott. Linda, who is married to Terry Hallcock, lives in Elliott. They have two children, April and Jacob. Kathy, who is married to Dennis Collins, lives east of Elliott. They have two children, Dennell and Carria. Carrie has a daughter, Ruth who lives in Red Oak. She has two children, Steve and Malissa Spebes. Ira has five children: Dorine Billings and husband Perry; Evan Perdue and wife Betty; Irvine Perdue and wife Helen; Stanley Perdue and wife Audrey; Rosa Bell Dahlin and husband V. L. There are 16 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Ira worked on the sanitation route for 15 years in Elliott, retiring 5 years ago.
