Obituary

    Grace May Carey, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. F. M. Carey, was born near Elliott, Iowa, on April 4, 1898 and departed this life at the family home in this city about 4 o’clock November 5, 1913, being 15 years, 7 months and one day of age at the time of her death.

    In the year of 1911 she united with the Church of Christ in this city and led an earnest Christian life. From early childhood she had been of very delicate health but she endured her suffering with patience and good cheer.

    She leaves to mourn her loss, father, mother, three sisters and two brothers, besides many other relatives and friends.

    The funeral services were conducted from the Church of Christ by Rev. W. B. Crewdson, at 2 o’clock, on Thursday, November 6. Interment was made at Elliott Hillside cemetery.
