Services for Mrs. Broyles
Elliott,
May 2. --Ruby Ruth Broyles, daughter of John and Cora Woodling, was
born in Pottawattamie County, Iowa October 9, 1898 and died at
Oakdale, Iowa, April 27, 1929, age 30 years, six months and 18 days.
She was married to Archie Broyles July 10, 1918. To this union four
children were born, one dying in infancy. Those living are Raymond,
John and Geneva. Mrs. Broyles had been sick for a long time, having
been at Oakdale sanitarium 22 months before her death. In spite of
so long and trying a sickness, she was always patient and cheerful.
She leaves to mourn her loss her husband, three children and one
sister, Mrs. T. A. Jones, of Wales. Funeral services were held at
the Church of Christ, conducted by Henry Esch. Music was furnished
by a quartet, composed of Mrs. W. I. Kirby, Helen Chandler, R. F.
Starr and C. F. Caldwell, with Mrs. Stayer at the piano. Interment
was in the Elliott (Hillside) Cemetery. |
