Carl Anderson
County's Oldest Resident Died

Would Have Been 100 Years Old in October;
Came from Sweden

Carl H. Anderson, who would have been one hundred years old October 12 this year, died at the home of his son, Claus L. Anderson, at 8:10 o'clock Wednesday night, four miles northeast of Stanton.  He had lived in the Stanton vicinity for 65 years.  No arrangements have been made for funeral services but it is expected they will be held Sunday.

Carl Anderson was the oldest man in Montgomery county up to the time of his death.  His brother, Johannes Larson, Father of E. A. Larson, Red Oak postmaster, is 98 years old.  Both were born at Vorgorda Elfsborgs Lan, Sweden.  Mr. Anderson was born October 12, 1834.  He is survived by two sons, Claus L. Anderson and Adolph Anderson, both of Stanton; his brother, Johannes Larson, and three nephews and two nieces.  They are:  E. A. Larson, of Red Oak; C. W. Larson , of Chicago; Joe N. Larson, Mrs. S.C. Trybom and Mrs. Tena Dambom, of Stanton.

He is also survived by two grandchildren, Edgar Anderson, of Stanton, and Miss Edna Anderson, of Omaha and two great-grandchildren, Robert and Catherine Anderson.
