Mrs. Sigrid Katrina Anderson Stanton, Jan 23 - Mrs. Sigrid Katrina Anderson died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Eden Anderson on Jan 20, at 12 o'clock. Death resulted from injuries received in a fall about a year ago. She was born in Sweden Apr 4 1838 and married in Indiana to John Anderson July 14, 1873. She is survived by the following children, John N., Loretoo, Neb and Mrs. Eden Anderson, mentioned above. Three children are dead. She is also survived by a sister, Mrs. Nels Anderson and two grandchildren, Raymond and Edward Hultquist. Mr. Anderson died her Feb. 27, 1922. Mrs. Anderson was a member of the Swedish Lutheran church at which places the services were held Wednesday, conducted by Rev J T Kraft. The pallbearers were John Lindquist, Leonard Larson, John Larson, Otto Peterson, Walter Anderson, Joe Shogren, P. P. Peterson and Joel Hill. Singing was by Mrs. E. M. Coppage. Burial was in Mamrelund cemetery. Those from a distance in attendance at the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. John N. Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon. Short services were held
at the home at 2 o'clock and at the Lutheran church at 2:30. Rev. J. T.
Kraft was in charge and spoke words of comfort to the bereaved family. A
very large number of friends were present to pay their respect to their
departed friend. Interment was made in
Mamrelund cemetery. The pall
bearers were grandsons of Mr. Hultquist and were: Eldor Hultquist, Glendon
Hultquist, Clarence Hultquist, N. O. Wigstone, Henry Nelson, Sig. Nylander,
Wallace Swanson, and George Mainquist.
