Campbell, Elisha

Elisha Campbell, aged 61 years, died yesterday morning at 9:30 o'clock at the family residence, 2618 Avenue A. The deceased leaves a family.

He was an old soldier and served during the late war in Company E, Eighty-third Regiment, Illinois Volunteers.

The funeral will occur this morning at 8 o'clock from his late home. The members of the Grand Army will attend in a body and escort the remains to the Burlington depot where the body will be shipped to Red Oak for Interment.

The remains of Elisha Campbell, a former resident of this city, who died in Council Bluffs, were brought here for interment Tuesday. He was an ex-soldier, and a number of the Red Oak and Emerson G. A. R. attended the funeral.
