Ira Bolt

The death on the 17th sunset, of Ira Bolt, removes from our midst one of Montgomery County's oldest citizens. His residence here dates from 1855, and was continuous except for the five years he served in the army.

His illness was of but few weeks duration, resulting it is thought from a fall he received last spring.

He was 51 years of age and was born in Highland County, Ohio. His remains were interred in the Frankfort cemetery by the side of his parents.
