• Word has been received by Exira friends announcing the marriage of Miss Emma Petty of Elliott and Otto Scharf, well known young man in this vicinity and former clerk at the Kearney Pharmacy. The ceremony took place at the home of the bride's parents at Elliott on Saturday, June 2. Mr. and Mrs. Scharf left for a trip to Denver, Colorado, and other points of interest in the west. On their return, they will make their home at
  

  Elliott where he is manager of an implement store. We all extend our congratulations to Otto and his wife and wish them many years of happiness. With the home prettily decorated for the occasion, and a company of about 50 invited guests present, Miss Emily Larson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew P. Larson, was married Wednesday evening, Sept. 27
