Monroe County,Iowa, Will Books A, B, and C are housed in the office of the County's
Clerk of District Court in the courthouse at Albia. The wills recorded date from
1845, when the county was formed, into the early 1900's. The indexs were copied at a time
when they were not included in the clerk's general probate index. They have since been added.
