| This is a portrait of the William Henry Kinsley family. William was born on 15 May 1858 in New London, Ohio. He married Emma Maria Seitzinger (b. 22 Mar 1862) on 26 Jan 1879 in Fremont, Indiana. They family moved to Monona County around 1882-1883 and lived in Whiting and Onawa. The girls in the back row are Levisa and Ora. By her father is Levina and the boy is Arthur. Ora died shortly after this picture was taken. Another daughter Margaret was born in 1894.

| These are the five children of James Hilarian and Catharine Brooks Kinsley. The picture was taken when William and James went back to Indiana for a reunion with their three sisters Lydia and Catherine, standing, and Ida between William (left) and James. Both William and James lived in Monona County. William and James along with their wives are buried in the Whiting Cemetery.

| The gentleman on the left is this photo is Charlie O'Neil, a close friend of the Kinsley family. Next is Arthur William Kinsley, born 13 Sep 1887. Arthur was the custodian at the Onawa school and while getting ready for the start of the school year, he was washing windows on the second story when the rope with the seat broke and he fell, sustaining severe injuries. He died in a Sioux City hospital two weeks later on 5 Sep 1938 and is buried in the Onawa Cemetery. Next to Arthur is his mother Emma who died 16 Jan 1934 and is buried in the Whiting Cemetery. Next is Bessie (Butcher), Arthur's wife. Beside Bessie is William Kinsley (Emma's husband, Arthur's father) and his sister Ida Strunk.

| Lucretia Rutledge was born on 22 Oct 1859 in Monroe, Wisconsin to Peter Silas and Charlotte Byram Rutledge. On 21 May 1875 she married Issac Burrell in Harrison County, Missouri. The family moved to Burden, Kansas where their six children were born. After the death of her husband Issac on 14 Aug 1888, her brothers came to Kansas and moved her to Onawa. She died on 15 Feb 1920 at the age of 60 and is buried in the Onawa Cemetery. Obituary Link for Lucretia

| This is the house where Lucretia Rutledge Burrell lived in Onawa. I believe it was built by the Rutledge family. It is located on the street going to the cemetery. It has been very well maintained and still has the distinctive roof line.

| Francis O'Connor was born in 1831 in Delaware County, New York, the son of John and Hannah Webb O'Connor. On 11 Nov 1855 he married Ann Maria Bradley in Menden, Michigan. In 1860 they moved to Cedar Falls, Iowa before coming to Onawa in 1867. Francis ran a hotel (O'Connor Hotel) and livery stable for many years in Onawa. Francis died 21 Jan 1908 at the age of 82 and is buried in the Onawa Cemetery. Francis had two brothers John and James who both lived in Onawa at times. Obituary Link for Francis

| Ann Maria Bradley was born in 1833 in Michigan. From her marriage to Francis, she had five children: Francis (Frank) b. 11 Nov 1859, Charles b. 19 Mar 1861, Ida Mae b. 12 Apr 1863, Nell C. b. 6 Apr 1865 and George b. 18 Nov 1872. She hired help to work at the hotel as she was an invalid with varicose veins. Ann died on 23 Oct 1905 at the age of 72 and is buried in the Onawa Cemetery. Obituary Link for Ann

The O'Connor Boys - Charles, George and Frank
Charles married Jane Daily in 1885. He died in 1939 and both he and Jane are buried in the Onawa Cemetery. George married Ethel Charlotta Burrell in 1903. He died in 1960 and both he and Ethel are buried in the Onawa Cemetery. Frank married Mary Ann Davis in 1878 and they had four children: Frances, George Clinton, Frank Evan and Hazel. He died in 1925 and both he and his wife are buried in the Onawa Cemetery.

| The George O'Connor Family
Starting on the left is mother Ethel Burrell O'Connor holding Mable (Babe), standing by the horse is Wava, in front on the horse is John, Ida, Mildred, Alice and Georgia (Jo) being held on by George. Ethel died 12 Mar 1923 from the flu in Orson, Iowa at the age of 39 and is buried in the Onawa Cemetery. George never remarried.
