EXAMPLE of a serviceman story:

James Heywood, CFC, of Smithland, and member of the U. S. Navy has been awarded the Purple Heart.  He was at home recently and made no mention of the award to anyone. He left the decoration with an uncle to be given to his mother on Christmas day. ~Smithland News.
