What Mr. Brenna and thousands of our other customers
have done with our hardy evergreens, YOU CAN DO. We should be pleased to
have you write Mr. Brenna. HIS ADDRESS IS ST. ANSGAR, IOWA.
St. Ansgar, Iowa, February 5, 1908.
Gilbertson Nursery Co., St. Ansgar, Iowa.
Dear Sirs: I wish to say in the spring of 1901 I bought an unimproved prairie farm near St. Ansgar, where I wished to build me a home and as I wished also to get some good trees for the grove. I went to our nurseryman, Mr. Gilbertson, who advised me to plant evergreens, and acting on his advice I gave the Gilbertson nursery Company an order for several hundred evergreens and set them out in the spring of 1901.
To say that I am more than pleased with my evergreen grove would not half tell it. The trees at present are strong and hardy, and measure from twenty to twenty-two feet. I lost less than one percent of my evergreens the year I set them out and have not lost one since. Wishing you success in your great work.
I am, Respectfully yours,
P.O. Brenna
