BAGS WOLF -- Richard "Dick" Chancellor, St. Ansgar,
shot a wolf on the Axel Hansen Jr. farm, southwest of St. Ansgar Sunday.
Helge Bulow, a hunting companion, first sighted the animal. Chancellor shot
the wolf with his first shot at 300 yards with a .222 magnum. He made the
stock for the gun himself. According to the Mitchell County Game Warden, Ben
Davis, the animal is a brush or swamp wolf. One was shot last week in Floyd county.
