MITCHELL COUNTY IAGENWEB

Proceedings of the Mitchell county Board of Supervisors
January 1877

The county board of supervisors met several times each year to conduct the county's business. Proceedings were published in one or two of the county newspapers. Among other things, the Board heard citizen petitions, approved allottments for paupers and citizens were paid for work they did for the county. The following proceedings were published in the Mitchell County Press on January 11, 1877. The print was sometimes blurred or otherwise difficult to read, so transcription errors are possible. When in doubt consult the original newspaper article.

The names listed are not alphabetical and may appear more than once!!
