WRIGHT FAMILY REUNION HELD SUNDAY AT FREMONT

Members of the Wright family enjoyed a family picnic and reunion on Sunday at Fremont, Neb., where despite the heat a very enjoyable day was spent. Following the bountiful picnic dinner served in a Fremont park, the afternoon was spent in visiting and in the taking of motion pictures of this Wright family group.
Those in attendance at this affair were: Charlie Wright and daughters Fanny and Kyle, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Wright and daughter Ruthie and son Jack, of Genoa, Neb.; Mrs. Fanny Burkett, Mrs. Lenore Van Kirk and son Burkett, of Lincoln.
Frank Wright, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Wright and son John, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Hill and nieces, Shirley and Margaret Throckmorton, of Glenwood; Mr. and Mrs. Jay Wright, and Mr. and Mrs. Oak McPharlen of Omaha.
FAMILY REUNION SUNDAY AT WALTER WRIGHT HOME

The home of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Wright on North Vine street, was the scene of a happy family gathering on Sunday. There were forty-six present to enjoy the bountiful, cooperative dinner at noon. The gathering of the clan was in honor of Glenn Wright, who is on vacation from his duties as technician at the radio station in Bloomington, Ill. He came to Des Moines where he visited his sister, Mrs. Mildred Clark, and on Saturday came on to Denison for a visit with his mother, Mrs. Carrie I. Wright, who accompanied him to Glenwood that evening, where all were weekend guests in the home of his brother, Walter, and family.
Those included in this family group on Sunday were: Mr. and Mrs. Lester Anthony, Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Anthony, Cecil Harris, Kenneth Hammers, Mr. and Mrs. Josh Hayter, Oliver Hayter, Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Schade and son, Lynn, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Schade and children, Helen, Alice, and Donald, Mrs. Hallie Schade, Mrs. Dewey Van Orsdel and son, Gene, Irma Flynn and son, Gerald, Mr. and Mrs. W.M. Wright and children, Dolores, Barbara, Dean and Virginia, all of Glenwood.
Mr. and Mrs. Elvin Schade and Charles Schade of Sidney, Mrs. Verne Cooper and children, Carrol, Donald and Joan of Corning, Mr. and Mrs. E.P. Baker of Gravity; Mr. and Mrs. Keith Hadley and daughter, Janice Lee, of Brooks; Mr. and Mrs. C.C. Baker of Villisca; Mildred Clark and daughter, Anne, of Des Moines; Mrs. Carrie Wright of Denison; and Glenn Wright of Bloomington, Ill.
Barbara and Dean Wright accompanied Mr. and Mrs. C.C. Baker home for a week’s stay at their farm near Villisca.
