THE WILLIAMS HOME PLACE OF REUNION
COMPLETE FAMILY OF EIGHT AGES FROM 54 TO 74
Malvern Leader
September 9, 1937

About the happiest man in Malvern the past week was C.L. Williams when his home was the meeting place for a family reunion of eight brothers and sisters and their families. A complete family of eight brothers and sisters, the oldest 74 and the youngest 54, is something to be happy about---and for five days they were together---from Friday until Tuesday---they were all young kids again. This was their first reunion for 15 years and there was so much visiting to be done there was hardly time to sleep so that the 32 guests could get history up to date and reminisce on all the “do you remembers.”

The family, descendants of Mr. and Mrs. Cyrus Williams, and all natives of Iowa were; Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Williams, Benson, Minn.; Mr. and Mrs. Ray W. Williams, Clear Lake, S.D.; Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Letcher, Winnebago, Minn.; Mrs. Clara Vest, Kansas City, Mo.; Enoch Williams, Marathon; Mrs. Will Archer, Faith, S.D.; John Williams, Winnebago, Minn.; Mr. and Mrs. Glen Williams and two children, Primghar; Mr. and Mrs. Philip Shoemaker, Kansas City, Mo.; Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Williams, Kearney, Nebr.; Mr. and Mrs. A.J. Johnson, Max, Doris and Bruce of Council Bluffs; Mrs. Jennie Thompson, Starbuck, Minn.; Mr. and Mrs. Horace Letcher, Marshall, Minn.; Mr. and Mrs. Joy Letcher and daughter, Winnebago, Minn.; Mrs. Emma McQuire, Danvers, Minn.
