WALLING FAMILY REUNION HELD HERE ON SUNDAY

The home of Mr. and Mrs. A.B. Walling was the scene of a happy family gathering on last Sunday at which time they had with them their daughter and her husband, Lieutenant and Mrs. C.E. Jones of El Paso, Texas, and little son, Billie, Miss Mable who teaches this year in the Council Bluffs schools and Albert, who attends the state university at Lincoln, were also home. In addition to these there was Mr. and Mrs. M.H. McShane of Rushville, Nebr.; Mr. and Mrs. Frank Bromley and children of Omaha and Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Clune of this city. The Mesdames McShane, Clune, Bromley and Walling are sisters.

The occasion of a family reunion accounts for the unusually happy expression on the face of A.B. Walling this week. For the first time in eleven years the family was together when they met at the W.N. Malony home in Council Bluffs on Sept. 7 and 8. Those present were Mrs. Clarence E. Jones of Anmiston, Alabama, Mr. and Mrs. Willard Walling of San Francisco, California, Mr. Albert B. Walling of Houston, Texas, Mr. and Mrs. William N. Malony of Council Bluffs, Mr. A.B. Walling and Mr. Robert Walling of Glenwood.
On Wednesday evening Mr. and Mrs. Malony held open house for the family and relatives. In addition to the Walling family were Mr. and Mrs. Frank Boomley, Sr. and daughters, the Misses Kathleen, Zeda and Margaret. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Boomley, Jr., and Mrs. J.C. Davidson, all of Omaha.
On Friday morning Mr. and Mrs. Willard Walling continued on to Wisconsin, Mr. Albert Walling returned to Houston on Thursday, and Mrs. Jones will be here for the remainder of this week.
