STONE FAMILY MET IN REUNION AT LAKE PARK

Mr. and Mrs. J.F. Stone and Mr. and Mrs. Irwin Stone entertained Sunday at a family gathering at the Glenwood Lake, honoring Karen Le Stone’s second birthday and the Carson. A cooperative dinner was held for the birthday of Mrs. Harold McClain and enjoyed by all at one o’clock. The afternoon was spent visiting, taking pictures and before they departed for their homes, ice cream and cake was served. The party included Mr. and Mrs. Buy McClain, Betty and James, Mr. and Mrs. Harold McClain of Carson, Mr. and Mrs. LeRoy Kruse, Richard and Larry, Mr. and Mrs. Rolfe Stiles and Junior, Mrs. Clara Johnson of Glenwood, Chester Weller and Roscoe Harmon of Urbana, Mo., Mr. and Mrs. S.W. Johnson and Clara Mae, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Harmon, Mary Lois and Duane of Pacific Junction, and the hosts, Mr. and Mrs. J.F. Stone, Warren and Duane and Mrs. Irwin Stone and Karen Le of Glenwood.

It was voted to make the family reunion an annual affair on the third Sunday of each July. Mrs. Rolfe Stiles was elected secretary of the association for the coming year.
