RELATIVES PICNIC AT J.T. SKERRITT HOME

The J.T. Skerritt home in Silver City was the scene of a merry picnic party last Sunday when various relatives and descendants of the Plumb family gathered for a family reunion. Those present were Mr. and Mrs. J.T. Skerritt, Mr. and Mrs. L.D. Austin, Mr. and Mrs. Ted Bowen, Miss Aimee Stevenson, Mr. and Mrs. Glen Skerritt and son Harold, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Skerritt and daughter Catherine, Mr. and Mrs. Rew Burgoin, Mrs. Ethel Hall and daughter Nancy of Mills county and vicinity.
Guests from a distance were Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Elder of Geneva, Nebr., Mr. and Mrs. Earl Heilman and son Kenneth of Red Oak, Miss Ellen J. Wing of Iola, Kan., Mr. and Mrs. W.I. Axtell and son Bobby of Atlanta, Ga.
One feature of the dinner was two birthday cakes honoring the birthday of Ivan Axtell whose birthday was June 9 and Mrs. Ethel Hall whose birthday was June 20.
