SHEPARDSON-LAMBERT FAMILY

PROMINENT FAMILY HELD REUNION HERE SUNDAY

The Shepardson-Lambert families reunion was held Aug. 26 at the Glenwood Lake park. The day was perfect, the crow was jolly, the picnic dinner was bountiful and tempting, with everything from fried chicken to ice cream, and the much appreciated box of Big 7 Medford, Ore., sweet pears, sent from Yakima, Wash., by Mr. and Mrs. Walter Lambert, son Donalf, and Maxine Lambert of Yakima, Wash. The relatives were all pleased with this gift and extend a vote of thanks to the donors. There was a program of music, speaking and letter reading, following which the officers for next year were elected, they being: Mrs. Elsie Lambert Mayberry, president; Mrs. Ernest Zack, secretary.

Those present were W.W. Keyser, Calvin Lambert, Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Zack, daughter Virginia and son Monis, of Percival; Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Mayberry, sons Gordon and Gail Dean of Pacific Junction; Mr. and Mrs. E.W. Harrington and son Rodney of Mayville, N.D.; Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Lambert, son Henry and daughter Lydia, Ravenwood, Mo. Jean Frazier, Malvern; Miss Francis Fowler, Jefferson, Iowa; Wendell Lambert, Hastings; Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Mayberry and son Robert, Mrs. Jeanette Frazier and daughter Jessie, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Merritt, sons Edward, Glenn and Lynn and daughters Ethel and Elva, G.A. Merritt, Jim Merritt and Grace Merritt, Mr. and Mrs. David Buckingham, and Mr. and Mrs. L.W. Lambert, all of Glenwood. The date and place of meeting for next year will be decided later.
