REYNOLDS FAMILY REUNION HELD SUNDAY AT ELLIOTTE
Malvern Leader
August 6, 1936

Descendants of the Reynolds family gathered at the home of Mr. and Mrs. J.N. Kinney in Elliot Sunday for the 11th annual reunion of the clan. Relatives were present from distant places and messages were sent by others who could not be present. Since the previous meeting death has taken only one member of the family and two marriages have taken place.

A picnic dinner was followed by a business meeting at which time officers were named as follows; Mrs. Doris Kruse, president; Mrs. Earl Cramer, vice president; Grethel Reynolds, secretary and treasurer; Mrs. W.H. Cramer, historian.

Attending the reunion from Emerson were Mr. and Mrs. H.E. Greenwood and family and Mr. and Mrs. W.H. Cramer.

TWELFTH ANNUAL EVENT HELD SUNDAY; NEW OFFICERS ELECTED

The Reynolds families gathered at Chautauqua park at Red Oak Sunday for their 12th annual reunion. Messages were read from Mrs. Bess McKinnon, Coeur d’ Alene, Ida.; Bobby Kruse, California; and Lila Reynolds, Stanberry, Mo. Since the last meeting death has taken two of our members, Mrs. J.A. Reynolds and Mrs. E.J. Perley. Three births were reported, sons to Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Kruse, Red Oak; Mr. and Mrs. Claire Sandel, Illinois; and Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Reynolds, Stanberry,Mo. One marriage, that of Edward Reynolds, son of C.E. Reynolds, to Miss Dorothy Squir.

Officers for the following year are W.H. Cramer, president; Mrs. Earl Cramer, vice president; Mrs. Ted Thompson, secretary and treasurer.

Those in attendance were Mr. and Mrs. D.C. Reynolds and granddaughter Grethel, Mr. and Mrs. Herman Kruse, Russell and Doris, Mr. and Mrs. J.N. Kinney, Henry Reynolds and Mr. and Mrs. Ted Thompson and Don, Elliott; Mr. and Mrs. Ivar Velander, Stanton; Mr. and Mrs. C.E. Reynolds, Prescott; Maxine and Meryl Reynolds, Villisca; Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Murray, Omaha, Mrs. Lela Bryner, Atlantic; Billy Weathersby, Chicago; Mr. and Mrs. W.H. Cramer, Mr. and Mrs. H.E. Greenwood and family and George and Wayne Bass, Emerson; and Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Kruse, Red Oak.
