A family reunion was held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. E.H. Ord in Hastings Easter Sunday and the Saturday preceding when the following guests were present: Mr. and Mrs. James Ryan and Stanley James of Morris, Minn.; Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Ord and Sandra Julianne of Tecumseh, Nebr.; Mr. and Mrs. Wendell Ord of Hastings. Wayne Ord of Glenwood, Miss Mildred Ord of Omaha, Miss Kathryn Rhodes of Council Bluffs, Miss Ione Swanson of Morris, Minn,; and Mr. and Mrs. B.F. Walker and Marjorie Jean of Lincoln, Nebr.
ORDS ENTERTAIN AT COOPERATIVE DINNER

Mr. and Mrs. George Ord Sr. entertained at a cooperative dinner at their home Sunday arranged to honor their two sons, Donald and Marvin Ord, who are home from Farragut, Ida., and also for their two sons-in-law, Sgt. Dale Harper of Starke, Fla., and brother, Cecil Harper, a bombardier of Midland, Tex. On Oct. 13 Cecil Harper will go to Odessa, Tex., and Sgt. Harper will report to Ft. Mead, Md.
In this group four birthdays were celebrated for the month of October, Marjorie Decker, Bessie Ray, Alta Ann Ord and Jeanette Ord; two wedding anniversaries, Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Decker, Oct. 23 and Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Ord, Oct. 9. The Ords have been married 32 years and have five sons in the service, three sons now serving in the south Pacific area, Geo. Ord Jr., Robert and Harvey Ord.

Ord Jr. and daughter, Beatrice, Neb.; Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Ord and sons, Mr. and Mrs. John Howell and Mr. and Mrs. Roy Ord and daughter, Council Bluffs; Mr. and Mrs. Elam Ord, Mr. and Mrs. Wendell Ord and family, Hastings; Mr. and Mrs. Ray Batten and family, Macedonia; Mr. and Mrs. Albert Batten and Marlene, Mr. and Mrs. William Ray and Mr. and Mrs. Forrest Smith, Glenwood; Mr. and Mrs. Donald Ord and family, Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Decker and family and Mr. and Mrs. George Ord and family, Silver City.
