MINTLE FAMILY
FAMILY DINNER PARTY AT GEO. MINTLE HOME
Glenwood Opinion Tribune
August 29, 1929
The home of Mr. and Mrs. George Mintle was the scene of a happy family gathering Sunday, August 25. All of their children except one daughter who resides in California were present, also several grandchildren. It was indeed a merry party that gathered around the dining table, which fairly groaned neath it's load of the best of all Queen Mills' products, prepared in a manner that would satisfy the most fastidious, they were their daughter, Mrs. Maud Smith and son Paul of Red Oak and son Earl of Chicago; also a granddaughter and husband, Mr. and Mrs. David Reltveid of Wahoo, Neb.; also another son, Oscar Mintle who resides east of Glenwood and his three daughters, Dorothy and Lucile at home and Mrs. Chas. Howard of near Tabor, another son, Frank Mintle and two daughters Inslee and Geneva of Hillsdale. A jolly social time followed the dinner after which all drove to the new home of Oscar Mintle and enjoyed looking it over.
