WALTER HILTON FAMILY ATTENDED MARTIN REUNION

Mr. and Mrs. Walter Hilton and family attended a family reunion of the Martin family at the Waubonsie state park Sunday. A large number of relatives from Iowa, Missouri and Nebraska were present at the affair. Oldest of the Martin family present was C.W. Martin of Sidney who is 91 years old.

Descendants of Ira and Barbara Martin held a reunion on Sunday, July 16, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Smith of Macedonia. During the business session the following officers were elected: President, Mrs. Cora Martin Smith, Macedonia; Vice President, Florence Wilhelm, Malvern; Secretary-Treasurer, Al Martin, Glenwood; Historian, Pauline Clausen, Treynor; Chairman Committee on Grounds, Marion Wilhelm, Malvern.
Forty were present including Mr. and Mrs. Al Martin and Mrs. Iva Martin of Glenwood; Mr. and Mrs. Charles Parker and Wayne Parker of Silver City; Mr. and Mrs. Marion Wilhelm, Phyllis and Eugene, Malvern; Mr. and Mrs. J.C. Clausen and sons, Treynor; the hosts Mr. and Mrs. T.E. Bradshaw, and Mrs. Loren Bradshaw and daughters of Macedonia; Mr. and Mrs. Harry Potter, Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Potter and daughters of Imogene; Mr. and Mrs. LaVern potter and children and Miss Lola Bradshaw of Omaha; Mrs. Leora Miller and daughters of Carson; Mr. and Mrs. K. Martin and son of Oakland; Mr. and Mrs. Elton Martin of Council Bluffs.
