JACKSON FAMILY DINNER SUNDAY

The Jackson family dinner which is an annual affair was held Sunday at the Russell Jackson home in Omaha. There were thirty-seven present among those going from here were Frank Jackson, R.O. Jackson and family, Mr. and Mrs. Glen Jackson, Mr. and Mrs. Dean Jackson, Mrs. M.T. Deupree, Mrs. C.J. Deupree and Mrs. Ed Marshall, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Widows and children, Mr. and Mrs. Art Sivers of Carson and Mr. and Mrs. John Tipton and Mr. and Mrs. John Hallam of Tabor were also among the jolly family group.


ANNUAL JACKSON-DEUPREE REUNION HELD SUNDAY

The annual Jackson-Deupree family reunion was held Sunday, Sept. 24, at Dodge Memorial Park in Council Bluffs.

Those of the party who are golf minded enjoyed a forenoon game on that magnificent green. The others assembled around the noon hour with well-filled baskets and all enjoyed the delicious picnic lunch together in the beautiful grove where a social afternoon was spent.

Those from here in attendance were Mr. and Mrs. Edd Marshall, Mr. and Mrs. Claude Deupree, Mr. and Mrs. Bryan Maxwell and little daughter, Mary Janet, and the R.O. Jackson family.

Those from Tabor were Mr. and Mrs. John Hallam and two daughters, and Mr. and Mrs. John Tipton.

Those from Omaha were Mr. and Mrs. Russell Jackson and Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Warren and little son, Stanton.---Opinion-Trib.


JACKSON-DEUPREE REUNION HELD AT MARSHALL HOME

The annual reunion of the Jackson-Deupree families was held this year at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Edd Marshall in this city on Sunday, June 7, some 40 members being present and a merry social time spent.

The outstanding feature was the delicious covered dish lunch, which proved a veritable banquet. In the afternoon the men folk betook themselves to the golf course and there enjoyed their favorite sport, while the ladies enjoyed a visit together and the children played games.


JACKSON FAMILY REUNION AT WIDOWS HOME SUNDAY

Mother's day was appropriately observed by members of the R.O. Jackson family, Sunday, when all attended morning services at the Glenwood Methodist church and afterward gathered at the H.J. Widows home where a cooperative dinner was enjoyed.

The gathering included Mr. and Mrs. Jackson, all of their children and all but one of their grandchildren, Donald, who is a student at Iowa State college at Ames, and who was unable to be home.

The family group included 24 in all, consisting of Mr. and Mrs. Jackson, Dean and son, Robert, Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Jackson and son, Roger, Mr. and Mrs. Ben Jackson and sons, Billy and Edward, Mr. and Mrs. Max Jackson and daughter, DeLores, Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Williams and Marilyn and Richard Randall, Mr. and Mrs. H.J. Widows and Harry J. and Rozella and Richard and Hobart Jackson.


JACKSON REUNION HELD SUNDAY AT GLENWOOD PARK

The Andrew Jackson reunion was held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Lester Darland, south of Glenwood on Sunday, September 2nd. Those present were Mr. and Mrs. Leo Darland, Carol and Phyllis of Sidney, Mr. and Mrs. Clare Darland, Mrs. Lloyd Williams and James of Red Oak, Mr. and Mrs. De Loyce Abrahams, Larry and Karen of Coberg, Mr. and Mrs. Don Kendall, Kaye, Neal, David, and Kathryn, Mr. and Mrs. Warren Darland and James of Shenandoah, Mr. and Mrs. Delbert Roberts and Jean Ann of Farragut, Mr. and Mrs. Earl McGinnis and Keith, Mr. and Mrs. Dale Anderson and seven children and Mrs. Nora Irwin of Tabor, Mr. and Mrs. George Buffington, Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Pippitt, Marilyn, Margaret and Charles, and Miss Hattie Kirkpatrick of Glenwood, Mrs. Delmar Chandler, Kent and Kaye of Modale, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Whitesides of Omaha, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Donner, Jr., Douglas and Deanna of Los Angeles and the hosts, Mr. and Mrs. Lester Darland and Charles.
