HOOVER REUNION

The 4th annual Hoover reunion of the descendants of Harry A. and Daisy Blackburn Hoover was held Sept. 3 at the Senior Citizens Meal Site in Malvern.
Thirty-eight family members attended from Vermillion, S.D.; Wichita, Kan.; Sioux City, Centerville, Shenandoah, Emerson, Hancock and Malvern.
A noon potluck dinner started a day that included picture taking, exchange of family history information, visiting and community singing.
The five children of the Hoovers are Vaughn and Cecil Hoover of Malvern, Mrs. Alva Barrett (Mildred) of Shenandoah, Harry Hoover of Emerson and Gene Hoover of Sioux City.
