More Than Half a Hundred People Meet a the J.R. Graves Home South of Balfour--Several Towns Represented
Six more than half a hundred people on last Sunday, October 10, held a reunion at the Mr. and Mrs. J.R. Graves home in Center township south of Balfour. The company represented four states and came in an even dozen automobiles.
Naturally relatives from four states would find it an easy task to pass the time in conversation. The reunion was of relatives comprising the Goode families.
The sumptuous dinner for this goodly company was served cafeteria style.
Those present were Mr. and Mrs. Joe Goode and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Goode, all of Lamoni, Ia.; T.A. Goode and family of South Dakota; Mr. and Mrs. Paul Goode and family, Fred, Ray, Lyle, Glen, Ira and Anna Weatherhead, Mr. and Mrs. A.S. Bloedel and family, all of Tabor; George Weatherhead of Randolph; A. Weatherhead and family of Missouri; George Durnall and two daughters, Miss Jessie Graves, Mr. and Mrs. C.A. Graves, Mr. and Mrs. Ben Graves and baby, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Moscrop and family, all of Omaha; Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Underwood and family of McClelland, Ia.; Mr. and Mrs. Claude Brooks and daughter Irene, A.B. Judson and Mr. and Mrs. J.R. Graves and son Kenneth of the home community.
