DETLEF FAMILY REUNION SUNDAY IN FREMONT, NEB.

Descendants of Henry and Anna Detlef, early pioneers of Mills county, held their family reunion in Fremont, Neb., Sunday, July 28. One hundred relatives enjoyed the pleasures of a picnic dinner
and an afternoon of visiting and renewing of acquaintances. Ice cream and cake were served late in the afternoon.
Officers for the coming year were elected: Herman Wriedt, of Emerson,Neb., president; Chris Wriedt, of Glenwood, vice president; Charles Detlef of Glenwood, secretary,
and Mrs. Paul Utemark of Wakefield, Neb., treasurer.
It was voted to hold the reunion in the same park “Davenport on West Linden Street” on the last Sunday in July next year.
Those attending from the vicinity were Mr. and Mrs. Chris Wriedt, Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Johnson, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Wriedt and Eldeane and Mr. and Mrs. Charles A. Detlef and daughter, Clairelyn.
