CROUSE FAMILIES PICNIC IN RED OAK
Met in Beautiful Chautauqua Park Sunday, Sept. 6; Picnic and Visit

A very enjoyable day was spent at Chautauqua park in Red Oak, Sept. 6, when thirty-eight relaives and friends of the Crouse clan met for a picnic dinner in honor of Mr. and Mrs. Will Hudson and Mr. and Mrs. Ruben Lundgren of Fort Dodge who are here visiting the A.F. and E.H. Crouse families and other relatives in this vicinity. Mrs. Hudson and Mrs. Lundgren are sister and niece of A.F. and E.H. Crouse.

At noon the usual picnic dinner of chicken and trimmings was served from one long table at which all were seated. After doing justice to all the good things the afternoon was spent in visiting and picture taking.

Those in attendance were: Mr. and Mrs. Will Hudson and Mr. and Mrs. Ruben Lundgren of Fort Dodge; Mr. and Mrs. A.F. Crouse, Mr. and Mrs. E.H. Crouse, and Harriett Clites of Hastings; Mr. and Mrs. W.F. Crouse of Strahan; Mr. and Mrs. Merrill Crouse of Henderson; Mr. and Mrs. Aaron Crouse and children, Lorraine and Ralph, of Hastings; Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Skaggs and Marion of Glenwood; Mr. and Mrs. Frank Clites, Warren, Shirley, and Wayne of Strahan; Mr. and Mrs. John Shaffer, Harry, Doris, Gayle, Blanche, and Jean of Red Oak; Mr. and Mrs. Nelson Hall and Mrs. Laura Hall of Hastings; Russel Hall of Glenwood; Mr. and Mrs. I.M. Shaffer of Red Oak.

Thinking this should be an annual affair plans were proposed to meet next year at Des Moines.

CROUSE FAMILIES PICNIC AT AUDUBON
Seventy-Two Relatives Meet Aug. 21 in Annual Affair

Seventy-two relatives and friends gathered Sunday for an enjoyable day of visiting and eating all of the good things that go to make up a good picnic dinner. The Crouses knew that they couldn't all get together unless they drove a good distance so it was decided a half-way place would be the only way.

Sunday morning bright and early the relatives started from the north, south, east and west and stopped in a beautiful park in Audubon.

Those attending were Mr. and Mrs. E.H. Crouse and Harriet Clites; Mr. and Mrs. A.F. Crouse and son, Waldo; and Mr. and Mrs. N.J. Hall of Hastings; Mr. and Mrs. Merrill Crouse of Henderson; Mr. and Mrs. Frank Clites of Strahan; Mr. and Mrs. I.S. Shaffer, Mr. and Mrs. John Shafffer and children of Red Oak; Mr. and Mrs. George Crouse and daughters, Georgia and Mrs. Sylvia Dudley of Villisca; Mr. and Mrs. Will Hudson and daughter Dorothy, Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Clausen and daughter, Mignonette, Mr. and Mrs. Dee Crouse and son, Duane, and Miss Dorothy Merrill all of Fort Dodge.

Mr. and Mrs. Albert Hoover and daughters, Della, Hazel, Velva and Reola, and sons, Raymond, Herbert, and Verl, and Mr. and Mrs. F.A. Crouse and children, Katherine and Bonnie, all of Duncombe; Mr. and Mrs. Jim Crouse and son, Henry, of Balley Junction; Mr. and Mrs. Van Thompson and son, Jimmie of Valley Junction; Mr. and Mrs. William Hudson and son, Dale, of Badger; Mr. and Mrs. Harold Hudson and daughters, Vera and LaVonne, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Hudson and son, Frances, and Mr. and Mrs. Frank Hudson all of Otha; Mr. and Mrs. Glen Spike of Duncombe; Mr. and Mrs. Robert Clark of Gray and Mrs. Lillie Boles of Coffeyville, Kan.

This is to be an annual affair meeting the third Sunday in August 1933 with F.A. Crouse of Duncombe as president, A.F. Crouse of Hastings as vice president, and Dee Crouse of Fort Dodge as secretary.

All departed late in the evening felling well repaid for their day visit.

Seventy-nine Attend Crouse Family Reunion August 16

Seventy-nine relatives and friends attended the Crouse family reunion and picnic held Sunday, Aug. 16, in the Red Oak park. An enjoyable day was spent with the picnic dinner at noon for which all brought well filled baskets, and refreshments of ice cream and cake were served later in the afternoon.

Election of officers for the group was held and H.D. Crouse of Ft. Dodge was named president and Mrs. Albert Hoover of Lehigh, secretary and treasurer. The next meeting will be held the third Sunday in August at a place to be selected by the committee.

Attnding this year's reunion were Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Crouse, Betty Ann Robinson, Mr. and Mrs. Will Hudson, Mr. and Mrs. Willie Hudson, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Hudson, Ft.
