ANNUAL BUCKINGHAM REUNION ON SUNDAY
Glenwood Opinion Tribune
August 10, 1944

The annual Buckingham family reunion was held at the Glenwood Lake Park Sunday, August 6. Because of travel restrictions and the absence of some of the family in the service of their country, only 24 were present, which is about fifty percent of the usual number which attends in normal time. Mrs. I.F. Rodman, 81, was the eldest person present. Her descendants and the family of her brother, the late A.J. Buckingham, comprised the largest portion of the group at the reunion. No formal program was planned, and so, after a bountiful chicken dinner, all enjoyed visiting during the afternoon as they sat on the banks of the lake. The youngest member of the family to be registered was Sharon Longinaker, age one year.
