The Brown-Nelson Reunion-Picnic
Annual Affair Held at Fair Grounds Last Sunday;Sixty-six Present

The annual Brown-Nelson reunion and picnic, including descendants and friends of these families, was held at the Mills County Fair grounds last Sunday and was largely attended.

The day was ideal, the place of meeting pleasant, and the crowd congenial so with the big dinner provided there was everything needed for a happy day. Sixty-six were present to enjoy the festivities, which included a big picnic dinner out under the trees at noon and visiting and games in the afternoon.

Those present were:Mrs. N. J. Nelson, Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Olson, Edith, Elizabeth, Hilfred, Donald, Frederick, Ruth, and Virginia, Mr. and Mrs. Victor Nelson, Lyle, Regina. and Darrell, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Brown, Darlene and Delno; Mr. and Mrs. Emil Carlson, Bernice, Helen Mae, and Max, Mr. and Mrs. Fritz Sandall, Mr. and Mrs. Emil Hanson, and Barbara, all of Essex; Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Brown, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Brown, Gwendolyn, Harriet, Jane, and Lynn of Shenandoah; Mr. and Mrs. Robert Lindberg and Vivian of Red Oak; Mrs. Ernest Herold and Kathryn of Grant.

Mrs. Paul Edwardson and Ann Louise, Mr. and Mrs. Harl Hawkins, Betty, Mary Jane, and Junior, of Omaha; Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Nelson and Beulah of Yorktown; Mrs. Ruth McNamara of Chicago; Mrs. Sophia Borene, Fred Borene, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Chamberlain, Virginia Dell, Twyla Fern, Velma Jean, and Elva Evonne, Mr. and Mrs. Galen Boles, Max, Dorothy, and Lee of Malvern.

Next year’s reunion will be held the last Sunday in August at the Paul Edwardson home in Omaha.
