Pleasant Day is Spent at Home Near Silver City

The Bonds held their annual reunion Aug. 27 at the W.A. Bond home near Silver City. All came with well filled baskets for a picnic dinner. The day was not a pleasant one outside but all was pleasant
inside where the dinner was served cafeteria style. The afternoon was spent in visiting and eating watermelon.

and daughter, Elizabeth, Mr. and Mrs. Cleve Rogers and son, Gene, of Griswold; Mr. and Mrs. Walter Adams and baby of Elliott; Mr. and Mrs. Harry Johnson and children, Bond Laverne and Mary Louise of Oakland;

Relatives Gather at Home of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Henderson

The Bond family held their annual family reunion at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Henderson north of Hastings Sunday. A big dinner brought by the ladies was served cafeteria style at noon and all enjoyed the day visiting.
Two great grandchildren have been added to the family group since the last reunion: Janet Lee, Martin, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ben Martin, and Willman C. Hanson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Hanson.

The Bond family held their annual reunion Sunday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. H.E. Jackson at Oakland. It was to have been a picnic at the Oakland park but due to the rain the day was spoiled for a picnic.
The afternoon was spent in visiting and the children played games.

Bond Family Hold Reunion on Sunday

Descendants of James Bond and Isabelle Stevens held a family reunion Sunday in Silver City. Following a potluck lunch at noon, a short business meeting was held and a report was given on the 1978 reunion.
Letters were read from cousins Marjorie Miller Estrada, Mildred Henderson Martin of Arizona and Gene Rogers of Red Oak. A telephone call was received from Laverne Johnson Green of Oakland, Iowa.
