AUGHES HOLD FAMILY REUNION

Mr. and Mrs. Carl R. Wilson of Council Bluffs were hosts June 26 at the annual Aughe Picnic at Long's Landing. Approximately 40 descendents of Mr. and Mrs. William Aughe, Sr. attended. The reunion has been held annually for 26 years, since the death of the Aughes.
The day was spent playing games and visiting. A 1 p.m. basket dinner was served, followed with ice cream, cake and pie.
Brothers and sisters attending included the Rev. and Mrs. George Durkee, Mr. and Mrs. Lester Adkins, Mr. and Mrs. Alex Christensen and Jay, Mr. and Mrs. Marion Shook, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Edwards,
Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Aughe and family, Mr. and Mrs. Irvin Aughe and family and Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Aughe and family. Other guests were Mr. and Mrs. Rev. Fernley and family, Mr. and Mrs. Darrel Palzer,
Mr. and Mrs. Larry Roce and family, Deanne Wilson, Barbara Summers, Julie Stotts and Beverly Aughe.
AUGHE REUNION

The family of the late William and Georgia Aughe, pioneers of Mills and Pottawattamie Counties, met for its 31st reunion June 28 at the rural Pacific Junction farm home of Mr. and Mrs. Alex Christensen.
Of 124 descendants, 71 were present as well as nine guests. Eight of the Aughe's nine children were present; Irvin, Gerald and Clarence Aughe, Edythe Adkins, Violet Wilson, Agnes Edwards, Coreata Shook and Virginia Christensen,
William Jr. of Bonanza, Ore., was unable to attend.
After dinner and visiting, homemade ice cream was served. Hosts for the 1982 reunion will be Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Aughe of Council Bluffs.
