Winfield Scott Lewis

Winfield Scott Lewis, born November 8, 1852 in Mills County, Iowa. He married Mary Louise Witt the daughter of Enoch Witt and Elizabeth Dunagan Witt. Mary was born in Mills County, September 3,1857 and died July 25,1922.

Winfield was a State Representative from 1880 to 1884. He was a lawyer until May, 1894. He was elected judge over nine counties of this district. Winfield passed away June 6, 1928. Winfield and Mary are buried in the Glenwood Cemetery.
