The one on the left is my great grandmother, Amanda Ellen [CONNER] BUCKINGHAM. She was born in Glenwood, 23 Dec 1855, daughter of Thomas & Phoebe Ann [GILLILAND] CONNER. She married John Looney BUCKINGHAM, 1 Jan 1873. He was born 16 Aug 1844 in TN. They lived in Mills Co; Holt Co, MO; & Hermosa Co, SD; before moving to Sutter Co, CA and 1896.

On the right is her sister, Caroline or "Carlie" CONNER, born 27 Jun 1858, Mills Co. She married Jesse Hardyman BUCKINGHAM, on 5 Nov 1878. He was b 28 Aug 1856 in Mills Co; they divorced in Mills Co. in 1902. She lived in SD before moving to CA where she died in 1959.  ~ Submitted by Charles Davis
