Mr. and Mrs. Roy Robbins stopped at Lincoln, Neb to attend graduation services for her niece, Barbara Lee, before continuing to Shelton for business on the Robbins farm.
Mr. and Mrs. George Parker entertained with a pot luck Wednesday. Those present were Mr. and Mrs. Elsworth Plumb and Virginia, Mrs. Ella Plumb, Mrs. Gerald Bobbitt, Mrs. Ralph Knight, Mrs. Forrest Reander, all of California, Mr. and Mrs. Laverne Pilling and baby of Macedonia and Mr. and Mrs. Paul Phillips of Henderson.
Mrs. Sherman Stonebrake has been caring for her mother near Malvern this past week.
Claude Wilson left for DeKalb for several days on business.
Mrs. Mabelle Pierson attended the graduation of her daughter Joyce from Simpson college at Indianola.
Pvt. John Hunt left Seattle for a new destination, possibly in Alaska.
Lynn Sowers, formerly of Wesley Chapel enlisted a few weeks ago and is now at Camp Sutton, N.C.
Mr. and Mrs. Frank Alexander visited sons, Marion and Bob at camp in California and with John Wilson Jr. at Mare Island.
Kenneth Parker started work at the bomber plant last week.
