World War Veterans who served in Company I met with their families here
in Annual Reunion Sunday Banquet in Evening
Co. I of World War days held its annual reunion on Sunday at the armory in Glenwood. At the business meeting in the morning the following
officers were elected:
President, Ralph Weidner, Omaha; vice president, Ed Rush, Glenwood; secretary and treasurer, Phillip Minner, Council Bluffs; chaplain, Clarence Day,
Glenwood; historian, D.N. Barnett, Glenwood, and honorary president, Mrs. Lottie Nelson, Malvern.
About 200 assembled for the picnic dinner at noon, after which visiting filled the afternoon until the banquet in the evening, at which about 100 were
present.
F.D. Logan, acting as toastmaster, presided over an informal program.
Those present, members of old Co. I, were as follows:
P.F. Minner, W.W. Walker, Robin Moore, Carl Miller, John Smith, Elmer Beeman, Roy Shannon, Guy Hines, Charles Hunt and Ed McClure, of Council Bluffs.
Curtis Kier, Ralph Weidner, Vern Nipper, Jesse Hunter, W.C. Meadows, Ralph Linville, and Ralph Lair, of Omaha.
Ed Martin, Roy Gallagher, T.E. Upton, A.C. Armstrong, and Lloyd Woodruff, of Burlington.
