Additional information or history:
   He saw service on the Western boarder in 1916, Re-enlisted in 1917 for over seas service. On 25 July 1918, he was cited for bravery by his General and in the battle of Hill #213 near Chateau Thierry, France. He was decorated with the Belgium Creix-de-guerre. In September he was again sited for bravery at St Mihiel and received his decorations a year after his death.
