Know ye that Albert Anson Prille of Captain Marquis L. Andrews Company (B) 29 Regiment of Iowa Infantry Volunteers who was enrolled on the seventh day of August one thousand eight hundred and 62 to serve three years or during the war is hereby discharged from the service of the United States this fourth day of August 1865 at New Orleans, Louisiana by reason of services being no longer required. (No objection to his being re-enlisted is known to exist*).

Said Albert Anson was born in Adams County in the state of Illinois is 24 years of age, five feet ten inches high, light complexion, grey eyes, light hair and by occupation when enrolled a farmer.

Given at New Orleans, La. this tenth day of August 1865
