John W. Anthony



To all whom it may concern

Know ye that John W. Anthony, Corporal of Captain G.W. Nimbergers Company (B), 12th Regiment of Kansas Infantry Volunteers who was enrolled on the fifteenth day of August, one thousand eight hundred and sixty two to serve three years or during the war is hereby discharged from the service of the United States this Thirtieth day of June 1865 at Little Rock, Arkansas by reason of expiration of term of service under provisions of War Dept. telegram May 29th 1865. (No objection to his being re-enlisted is known to exist).

Said John W. Anthony was born in Jackson Co. in the state of ----is 22 years of age, 6 feet inches high, fair complexion, blue eyes, brown hair, and by occupation when enrolled a farmer.

Given at Little Rock, Ark., this 30 day of June 1865.
