He came to Iowa in 1873, contracted Smallpox on the way, and died within a few days after arriving in Mills County.
Buried in Section 30,
Wesley Chapel Cemetery, located on the J. H. Plumb farm. Cemetery started in connection with the Wesley Chapel Church (M. E.) in 1874.
