The Christian Church was located, on East Fifth Street, just west of the present Methodist Church. The church was large, with a sanctuary and balcony. Sometimes, the church building was used for concerts, plays, etc., until a community center was built in 1926.

Total membership ranged from 20 to 150. The ministers that served this church, from 1900 to 1942, were; D. L. Norris, D. C. Morris, H. H. Utterback, Earnest Maloy, Robert Conley, C. E. F. Smith, Ira Crewdson, Roy Gates, A. G. Whittier, G. D. Noland, Cecil Wright, W. L. McIlvaine, Walter Shenefield, W. D. Lee.
