Wall Cemetery
(Oak Township, Sections 17 and 20-west part)


Wall is a small, well kept, cemetery, located in Oak Township. It contains the grave of Samuel Allis a minister/ missionary to the Pawnee Indians. Another famous grave, is Vernon Palmer Wall, who was lost at sea in a submarine attack in the Pacific Ocean in 1944.

Directions to cemetery:
From the Interstate 29 and Highway 370 interchange (Exit 42), go one mile east on Highway 370. Turn down County Road L31, about 3 miles. The cemetery is located on the east side, on the hill surrounded by a green fence.
