The funeral of Louis Ben Nelson who died Sunday of pneumonia following measles was held from the Friends church at Dunbar Tuesday morning and was largely attended. The young man’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Nelson, lived in the Dunbar neighborhood for several years prior to their removal to this city two years ago, and still have many friends at their old home. Many beautiful flowers were extended the bereaved family by friends and neighbors, both here and in the Dunbar settlement. Interment followed in the Stavanger cemetery. Mr. Nelson returned from Canada to this city only one week before he died, having had an attack of measles in the north country. His physician thought there would be no danger in his making the long journey home but en route he contracted a severe cold, which settled on his lungs and developed into pneumonia.
