This cemetery was formed long before Luray was a town in Timber Creek Township. It is located on the Riley Magers Farm in Section 19 near the town of Luray in Timber Creek Township. There is nothing there today. It is also known as the Luray Cemetery.

Location of former Luray Post Office. It is NOT the location of the cemetery but shows the general area of where the town of Luray used to be.

Riley married Elizabeth "Eliza" WHITESIDES, 02 Oct, 1845, Carmi, White Co., IL. Eliza was b. 8 May, 1827, White Co., IL, and d. 10 Nov., 1911, Jamestown, Cloud Co., KS. (Sometime around 1875, Riley and Eliza divorced. On a Marshall Co., IA, deed dated 21 Feb 1878,  Riley's wife is listed as Susan Magers.
