The History of Mahaska County, 1878

I am in the process of transcribing "The History of Mahaska County, Iowa", which was written in 1878. It will take me some time to do this, but I think that it is a valuable resource for the site. It will definitely help us all understand how our ancestors lived back then, and the conditions of the area. I have started with the Educational Statistics of the county and will go from there.
