SPAIN,
RYAN am trying to locate information of Joseph
M. SPAIN (1854- ) and Ellen RYAN (1860- ) and
any of their Elizabeth, Joseph jr., Helen,
Alice, Nora, or Frances. Ellen was the daughter
of John & Honora Ryan of Madison County.
Know that they were married in Sioux City, Iowa
some time in mid-1880's and that they did live
in Madison. Mike Spain was from the St.
Patrick's parrish originally and became a hay
buyer in Sioux City. Family eventually moved to
California, but do not know when or where. Have
nothing on any of the children other than
Elizabeth and have learned that she was a
Carmelite nun in San Diego, California later in
life. Any additional help would be appreciated
