I
am searching for info on my ggrandfather, WILLIAMS,
James Madison. He was born on 4/28/1855 in Madison County,
IA. The problem is that I do not have the names of his
parents. I do know that in 1860, he moved with his parents
to DeKalb Co., MO and his parents died shortly after that
and he was left an orphan. If you have anything that might
coincide with this man, please let me know.

in 1875. Their daughter Sallie Mae was born there in

Oklahoma for the Land Rush. There are several Wm.
Hopkins in the land records and census data, but I can't
prove which are my Hopkins. Any help on these two lines
would be appreciated. Thank you, Marcie Van Deren
